Fahr and Away the Best: Brody Fahr Named to “Drake All-Defensive Team”

Fahr Earns Top Second Baseman Spot in ALPB

(Sept. 29, 2026, Waldorf, MD-)The Atlantic League has announced the 2026 “Drake All-Defensive Team,” naming Blue Crabs Second Baseman, Brody Fahr, the recipient for that position.

Fahr was a steady presence up the middle all year for the Blue Crabs, manning second base every day to start the year before seeing some time at shortstop in the second half of the season.

Over 101 games overall, the 24-year-old posted a .983 fielding percentage, the best mark among primary second baseman with at least 81 games played. He was also part of 62 double plays, second-most among non-first basemen. At the plate, the Greer, SC native batted .290 with seven home runs, 23 doubles, and 62 RBI.

This was Fahr’s third professional season, spending last year with the Lincoln Saltdogs of the American Association. He primarily played second base, but also saw time at third base and shortstop as well. Fahr finished last season with a .990 fielding percentage adding to his defensive prowess.

Before that, Fahr played both the amateur and professional portions of the 2024 MLB Draft League season with the Frederick Keys.
